Vacation Part 2

Here's the second half of our beach vacation pictures. It was sad leaving but I'm so happy to be HOME!

I could watch the boys play in the ocean all day. The weather was perfect - sunny with a breeze.

After a while down at the beach the boys would want to head to the pool.

This is the look of a little boy who just finished eating blackened Mahi Mahi! He LOVES it!

I tried to get a picture of the two of them. This is the best I could get. Haha!

Here's proof the Michael and I were actually there as well.

Carter ran and played the entire time we were at the ocean. Miles would go out and play some but not like Carter!

My tumbler from That Inspired Chick made it on vacation too! It kept my drinks nice and cool.

Me and Miles

Me and Carter

Me and Jackson

Jackson asked me to take pictures of them jumping in the pool so I thought I would share them as well!

Carter doing his thing.

And Miles who still holds his nose when he jumps in. It's a work in progress with him!

Dinner at our favorite place - The Gulf Stream. The are getting tired of me taking their pictures! Haha!

My goofball. Michael would not smile right in any picture I took of him. But I'll keep him!

Nothing says fun like mini golf. Haha!! Some one always asked for a redo or some one was always cheating. But...I can say I beat everyone and I wasn't wearing glasses or contacts.

It's a joke in our family that some one usually gets sick. Well, I had a sinus infection the week before this trip. We thought that was our sickness but Carter wanted more. He had bullus impetigo. This is part of it and it looks really good here. I'm thankful our pediatrician is beyond awesome. We texted him a picture of Carter's leg and he called him some meds since we were out of town.

Splash Pad Fun

Our church went to the splash pad one Sunday night for a fun get together. My boys had a blast running wild and playing.

LEGO Store

We took the boys to Concord Mills so they could go to the Lego store. My boys were in HEAVEN! They all did really well on the ride up there. No complaining and no potty breaks!

We started in the Bass Pro Shop. Micheal needed to buy some things in there on the way out so that's where we walked in. The boys had fun looking at the boats and sitting on the 4 wheelers.

We make our way down to the Lego store. Pure happiness!!

I'm pretty sure all 3 looked at every item in the store. They each had money to spend and it was funny watching them decide.

It was their first visit. They were mesmerized by all of the Lego's.

They looked at every display.

They played.

They looked some more.

They played some more.

And two of them built little men.

Then back to the Bass Pro Shop. The boys loved the fish display.

And afterwards all of us were starving. So we headed to McAlister's. And this boy had pizza for the second time in one day! (Micheal gave him a slice for breakfast.)

And Carter had chips and dip. Jackson didn't want a picture.

All three did GREAT on the way home! They were pooped and watching a movie helped.
Right time we get home we had to open Lego's and start building.

Carter had to check out Michael's purchases.

And Miles had fun playing with his new LEGO!

Swimming Lessons

It's THAT time again. Jackson has taken lessons for several years. This was the first year Miles and Carter was able to take lessons. Let the fun begin!
They both sat on the side and kicked.

No big deal. They have this part down pat.

Carter showed Miles how it is supposed to go. He was eager to do everything.

Miles on the other hand wanted to keep kicking. He cried when it was time to get in the water. He did some fool backwards crab walk to get away from the steps.

Still kicking. He is VERY good at this part.

Wednesday (after J's cast came off) he was able to get in the water.

And Miles made it in the water on his own. I will say the life guard took him out and he screamed and cried. But, he finally did float on his back and he went under every day.

And by Thursday Miles was on the kick board!

Jackson was happy the day these two were swimming!

And by Thursday Miles got in on his own. He wasn't too happy about something here but he was in the water!

And the he was happy and splashed a little!!

And on Friday he swims with a new life guard that hasn't worked with his all week! I think swimming lessons were a success this year! (Carter did great. They had to tell him to stay on the steps until it was his turn.)
