LEGO Store

We took the boys to Concord Mills so they could go to the Lego store. My boys were in HEAVEN! They all did really well on the ride up there. No complaining and no potty breaks! 

We started in the Bass Pro Shop. Micheal needed to buy some things in there on the way out so that's where we walked in. The boys had fun looking at the boats and sitting on the 4 wheelers.

We make our way down to the Lego store. Pure happiness!! 

I'm pretty sure all 3 looked at every item in the store. They each had money to spend and it was funny watching them decide. 

It was their first visit. They were mesmerized by all of the Lego's.  

They looked at every display. 

They played.

They looked some more.

They played some more. 

And two of them built little men. 

Then back to the Bass Pro Shop. The boys loved the fish display. 

And afterwards all of us were starving. So we headed to McAlister's. And this boy had pizza for the second time in one day! (Micheal gave him a slice for breakfast.) 

And Carter had chips and dip. Jackson didn't want a picture.

All three did GREAT on the way home! They were pooped and watching a movie helped.

Right time we get home we had to open Lego's and start building.

Carter had to check out Michael's purchases. 

And Miles had fun playing with his new LEGO! 

Second Grade

The first day of school pictures are my favorite! Jackson so was excited and nervous to be heading to second grade. He was up early and helped pack his lunch. He talked to Michael all the way to school and wanted to walk in alone. I was antsy until Lanie posted a picture of Boyd and I saw J sitting in his desk talking to some one across from him.

 First day of first grade and the first day of second grade. My baby is growing up fast!

August 13 - 19

Thursday
This boy LOVES Mrs. Pam's fried chicken and green beans.

After eating at Pam's this boy heads for the pork skins at Scrappy's house.

Watching television while doing Lego's.

Just hanging out at the pool with our mask falling off!

Back at the pool!

Jackson's first day in SECOND grade!

It's allergy testing time!

And Miles is allergic to peanuts and almonds!

Since we didn't get a treat on the first day of school we headed to Berri Lane on the second day of school!

Jackson said he was tired of pictures so I took one more! He is still happy on the third day of school!

Everyday Life Week 32

August 6 - August 12

Thursday
What do you give a child for breakfast who doesn't usually eat breakfast? His favorite food!!  We usually do not give them pizza for breakfast but we were headed to Concord and wanted him to have something to eat before we left. 

Friday
Jackson had to finish his AR tests for his summer reading. Thank goodness they had it at the public library this year. It was so much easier than going to a school during certain hours.

Friday
After the library we went to Berri Lane. The boys enjoyed their frozen yogurt!

Saturday
These two helped me shop for groceries while Jackson and Michael went fishing.

Back at the neighbors!

Some one has a nice tan!!

Monday
Still putting Lego's together!

Tuesday
The boys and I went to Florence to run a couple of errands.

And I made them sit in Starbucks while I ordered some tea!

Of all the toys they could have gotten at Target they HAD to get Lego's. And they love to take them apart and put them back together again!

Silly Aunt Kay (that's what my boys call her) gave them some silly sand. All 3 had a blast playing with it.

There's always that one child...
The boys love their new boom jammies! It's hard to find pj's for the boys so Boom makes them and that's why they are called boom jammies.

He is getting tired of doing workbooks!

What do my boys do when you have to get out of the pool because of thunder? Find a bug to torture with pine straw until we pack up to leave!
