It's Soccer Time!

 It's time for Upwards Soccer. All 3 boys are playing. Thank goodness this past Saturday was the only time the games are at the same time.

Jackson loves running thru the tunnel. 

He is the biggest kid on the team this year.

And this boy ran. And Ran. And ran. He was tired when we left.

For some one who said he didn't want to play he really did have fun. He was itching to get back in the game when the coach switched out the players.

Jackson mostly played defense and did a great job at it!

The Green Team

Miles and Carter are on the green team with lots of other kids from school. They did fairly well for their first time playing.

Miles liked kicking the ball. 

Carter is my fella who loves sports. 

I even got some pictures with both boys!

I think Miles was just chasing Carter at this point.

Miles decided to take sit with his friends from school - Jolene and Stella.

Carter had fun playing the actual game. Until he bumped heads with Porter. Then he was done with the game. 

Here's all Miles did. He walked on the field to play and then walked off crying. Haha!! 

Ovis Hill Farms

Jackson's class went to Ovis Hill Farm last week. I'm not sure who had more fun - the parents or the kids! The parents were able to shop in the farm's little store. The cheese from there is wonderful! 

They painted birdhouses made out of gourds.

They made bracelets. The yarn was from the wool from the sheep at the farm.

We saw lots of these!

The wagon ride was the best!

The sheep reminded me of the Serta commercial. Except these sheep looked dirty. And they were loud. I really thought there was a huge man hiding making all of the noise.

Everyone was able to feed a calf.

And pet it!

They were able to pet a sheep while Farmer Charlie fed it. We were all shocked how soft he felt. Just like a soft blanket!

Coker Play Day

This is Jackson's second year going to Coker College's Play Day for preschoolers. I'm not sure who had more fun - the college kids or the preschoolers. Jackson's class behaved so well and everyone had a blast!

The best activity was the goo. It was corn starch and water. The girls played forever in it. The boys were not as interested. They rather run and play tag.

Here Comes the Tooth Fairy!!

Jackson's tooth has been loose for a while. We've tried for 3 days to pull it. Well, Michael has tried not me! I'm too chicken for pulling my baby's teeth. Jackson had a dental appointment today and I was going to ask the dentist to pull it but it fell out while he was eating lunch. And he said it didn't hurt at all.

How often does something like this come home in your child's book bag?

He is using the tooth fairly pillow his dad used. He was so excited about putting his tiny tooth in the pillow. After this picture he asked me to put the pillow on the floor beside his bed because he didn't want to knock it off. Then he told me he was going to miss his tooth. I can't wait to see what the tooth fairy leaves!

Come On In....Family Rooms

I recently stumbled across Momfessionals blog and I have gotten some neat ideas from Andrea. She is doing a blog tour of homes so I thought I would link to her site. I hope I get some good ideas for decorating!

Michael and I have been in this house for almost 8 years. Every room has had something done to it. We added a master suite when we found out we were having twins in 2010. We took most of the breakables out. It's a little dangerous with 3 boys (ages 6 and 3 year old twins). I'm in the process of putting items back. 

This is walking in from our front door. And it's early in the morning before all of the toys are out.

Here's another view from the front of our house. The door to the right of the fireplace goes to a screened in porch and the door to the left is our new master bedroom. The antique water table is missing the door thanks to Jackson (our 6 year old) and needs to be put back on. This was the first uh-oh with an antique!

This wall is going into the master suite. These pictures are of my father in law, my husband and my 3 boys wearing the same outfit for their one year old pictures. The table and stool are from my husband's grandparents house. It looks like the stool is sideways...thanks to my boys. Ha! The twins bedroom is to the left in this picture.

This is looking from our master bedroom. A small bookcase beside the front door holds some toys and books. And the bench in front of the couch is toy storage. 3 boys equals lots of toys! We usually have another rug in front of the double windows but it gets in the way of the pillow racers (the orange toys you see under the table). I even roll the large rug over so they have more room to race.

Here's a larger bookcase that holds more toys. We had two of these in this corner but down sized the toys and moved some upstairs in Jackson's room. The twins roam upstairs now so we keep more toys up there.

So...there is our Family Room. 

Spring Break is HERE!

We are going to live in our yard this spring and summer. The boys already know if it isn't raining we are going outside.

This is the boy who didn't want to get wet 2 summers ago! 

And this is the one who likes to strip down to his underwear outside! And will tinkle when the urge strikes him. The joys of potty training little boys! (I've already apologized to the neighbors.)  

Miles and Carter were upset because they didn't have a place to sit and eat their snack. Michael put some boards together for them and they were happy as can be.

This little boy only has a couple of weeks left of 5k and I'll have a 1st grader! And his bottom two teeth are loose. I can't take all of this right now!!

Of course one the boys had to work on their jeep. Half naked.
