Everyday Life Week 4

January 23 thru January 29

A snowy Saturday morning and supper at Scrappy's house. These 3 played the piano and sang. Turner was running around some where in the house.

A Sunday porch picture after Awana's!

It's a Monday morning fight. They wanted to wear snow boots.

While Jackson was at school the little ones and I played the Wii. I had to get a picture of Miles with the screen since he finally came in 1st place!

A lovely wait at the ENT's office. We are cutting out corn and dairy from his diet for 2 weeks to see if his skin clears up.

And a PTO performance.

And pictures taken.
ENT appointment, PTO performance and church directory pictures all in one afternoon. It was a long afternoon.

A follow up for these two. All clear for both!

Nights playing the Wii.

Practicing cursive. This boy is GOOD!!

A little outside fun.

Some weed picking.

This is how Jackson ate his non dairy ice cream. It's kinda yummy too. It's made with coconut milk.

Ice Day Fun

School was cancelled last Friday because of ice. The boys were so excited! They kept me on my toes all day.

We did push ups.

Sit ups.
(See the construction paper hanging on the wall? That's how I decide where I want to hang pictures!)

And had a play war with our gloves on. All of this was before 9 and before I finished my coffee. I need lots of caffeine for a day like this.

Here's the ice near my front steps.

And our back deck was a sheet of ice.

We opened Twister. The boys were so funny playing this.

Jackson was a pro...even though his knee is down.

Miles loved it!

And was a pro. Carter was off playing something else or spinning the wheel.

Everyday Life Week 3

January 16 - January 22

Saturday it was warm enough to play outside. It was wonderful for all of us!

Boom made new quilts for the boys. Miles wasn't in the best of moods when I tried to get a picture of him on his quilt.

Carter was happy as a pig in mud! Both quilts were made from her stash of material.

Sunday requires a picture on the front porch.

Perfectly timed picture.

Jackson and I usually have a special treat on Tuesdays.

Bundled up again and played outside. It's always good to run off some little boy energy.

Seriously.
This is a incentive to sell stuff. For filling out addresses of 10 people this is what J got. Its a ring that lights up.

Still reading at least 20 minutes a day.

ICE DAY
The boys were so busy. They built a fort, did sit ups, play fought, ran in place and did push ups all before 9am. They finally put some clothes on late afternoon and we went to town to get supper.

Everyday Life Week 2

January 9 - January 15

We took the boys to their favorite places - Target, Barnes and Noble, Chick-fil-a, and to Turner's house. They played with Turner while Michael and I ran to Sam's. The boys had a blast playing and didn't want to leave. And..the book J got has been read and an AR test was taken! This boy loves to read!

Sunday after church picture.

While we were waiting on Jackson to get out of his class for Awana's M and C played on the drums with Lily in the youth room. They were LOUD!

And they had way too much fun.

We had to pull for Alabama in the National Championship game.
This is how we eat.

Miles read his first book to me! I am so proud of him.

M had a visit to the doctor. He has a sinus infection and the start of an ear infection.

Jackson said that I have not taken him to the library in a while so we went by after school.

The duck face makes breathing treatments better. Miles says it's his air conditioner because it gives him fresh air.

The next day Carter read his book to me!

Our newest pet...Larry. He is Jerry's friend. And we played marble run.

Student of the Week!

C has finally started eating better. And he likes to eat ALL DAY!

Michael put his coat on C before work. This is too funny!

I told them not to jump on the couch. This is what they did. They get points for creativity.

It's a wild Friday night at our house!!

More Birthday Fun!

We didn't do a big party for Miles and Carter's birthday but we did celebrate all day!

We started out with some silly pictures before school.

Miles was full of it. He gets into silly poses.

I took snacks for their class. All 7 of them.

Miles as we sang.

And Carter.

They made snow the day before and wanted to play with it again.

And Miles and Jake read books on the computer.

After school they showed me how they can walk like a crab.

After a pizza and cereal bar supper we sang to each one again and they blew out their candles.

Then came present time! And a funny story about their shirts. Both wanted the 5 on the back so Boom stitched it on the back. That morning they wanted it on the front. So they wore their shirts backwards all day. They were happy so I was too!

The both hugged Jackson for the gifts.

And the neat thing is I didn't ask them too! They did it on their own.

And then they opened the gift from us.

It was a scooter for each of them. Now we have 3 just a like and hopefully we will have no more fighting.

To end a fun filled day they played Mario Kart and used their new steering wheels.
