Project 366 Week 4

Week 4

Sunday: Baby Dedication at church. Miles and Carter were cute as can be in their blue outfits! 

Monday: 1 year check ups. Both little ones did great and weigh the same - 20 pounds 15 ounces

Tuesday: Miles has completed OT with Ms. Betty. What are we going to to on Tuesday mornings now? It's only been 6 months of therapy. 

Wednesday: Our new recliner was delivered! 

Thursday: We took Miles and Carter to pick up Jackson from school. The little ones loved all of the attention from the "big" kids. 

Friday: HAIR day! Jackson had a hair cut and did great! He wore the cape, let Ms. Carla wet his hair and she used the clippers to clean around his ears. All of these are firsts for him!

Saturday: Miles had fun playing outside. Carter loved playing in the sand.

Project 366 Week 3

Week 3

Sunday: After church and lunch, Jackson played a video game while Miles and Carter napped. 

Monday: MLK Day The 3 little boys and I were home all day. I moved the rug so Jackson could "ride" one of his trucks.

Tuesday: BIG Day--Carter's last day at therapy (OT). Ms. Irene has been wonderful with him. Miles has another session.

Wednesday: Falling asleep alone in a  crib must be tough.This is how I found Miles when he woke up from his nap.

Thursday: Picture Day! I know the photographer was tired when we left. It is difficult to get two boys to look at the camera at the same time. But they were adorable in their outfits! 

Friday: I picked Jackson up from school and we went to lunch with Daddy at Subway. After lunch, Jackson and I went to look at a new recliner. 

Saturday: Lazy Day! All three boys played so well together. 

Project 365 Week 2

This week started out pretty rough but thank goodness it got better. 

Sunday - We took Carter to Urgent Care with strep throat. Michael had a sinus infection. 

Monday - Jackson and Miles made a trip to the doctor's office. Both of them had strep. (Just for the record - I called my doctor and he called in medicine for a sinus infection too. I didn't want to be left out!) 

Tuesday - Miles had fun walking with his push toys. All 3 boys and I stayed in one more day to make sure all of the medicines were working!

Wednesday - On top of strep the little ones have new teeth trying to come in. Poor Carter had about all he could take. He was in pain. 

Thursday - It was the BIG day for first hair cuts. Miles really needed to get his hair cut since it was almost in his eyes. Carter on the other hand had maybe 10 hairs cut but they were going to have it done together! 

Friday - Jackson made number magnets at school. We had to play with them when we got home. 

Saturday - Pop brought Jackson a container full of toy soldiers and everything that goes with them. He played with them forever! This boy has an imagination!

Here is the before! 

Miles went first since he had the real hair cut! He sat very still while Carla did her magic. 

Carter had to sit close to him and play with the toys.

Carter wasn't as still as Miles but he did great. It was funny because he only had  around 10 hairs cut! 

Miles had to explore while Carter was getting his new 'do,

Our teething babe had to chew on a comb. 

And then Miles had to join in. Both boys did super and now they look like little boys and not babies!

I was going to go "all out" with the party but with it being so close to Christmas I lost track of time. But, next year will be fun!

 Carter woke up from his nap right as family was arriving. He was ill, cranky and HOT. Poor guy had a fever and ended up at Urgent Care on Sunday. The verdict was strep throat. (Monday we took Jackson and Miles to the doctor with strep as well!)

Miles liked playing with the sheet we put down for their cakes.

I did manage one smile when the Tylenol started working.

Miles didn't know what to think of his cake. He did lick the icing off of his fingers. 

Carter tickles me when he squats like this. 

Miles had to put his foot in there too. 

It's my party and I'll cry if I want to!! 

Week 1 Project 365

My challenge for 2012 is to complete Project 365. This is where you take one picture a day for a year and post them online. I'm a little late with this first week but I had to figure out the Picasa Web Albums. 

The first week of the year

Jan 1 - After church while the little ones slept, Jackson watched a movie and laughed so hard I had to laugh with him. 

Jan 2 - While Jackson was at school daddy had fun with Miles and Carter. Miles LOVED pushing Carter around on this little toy which was really his physical therapy homework!

Jan 3 - Carter starting taking a few unassisted steps after OT with Ms. Irene. 

Jan 4 - Jackson loved his Lightning McQueen pillow Miss Amanda gave him. That night while getting in bed he told me that he liked that pillow the "mostest". 

Jan 5 - Miles and Carter played in the kitchen most of the day and this is how I was able to get something done. Give them their milk and let them drink some and shake some out all over the floor! 

Jan 6 - Jackson was Terrific Kid at school. We took snacks and enjoyed a few minutes with the class. Jackson adores his teacher, Ms. Martrano.
