Summer Storms

This past Saturday Michael had to adjust our sprinkler heads. So, being the great mom I am I sent the boys out to play in them while he was working on them. They played for about 20 minutes and it started thundering and lightning. Michael made them sit on the front porch and gave them some kool-aid. It was fun watching the storm and the wind felt so good. Too bad it never rained!

Swimming Lessons

Apparently 3 hours of baseball camp every morning last week wasn't enough for one day. We added swimming lessons in the afternoons. By Friday we were all exhausted!
Jackson LOVES can't stand going to swimming lessons. But, the third time is a charm. I have a swimmer now! He isn't supposed to wear a mask but the life guard didn't care. He was swimming and going under the first day. It's about time!

Coker College Baseball Camp

June is hot. Baseball camp in June is hotter. Jackson was in the heat running bases, batting and playing ball. He loved every minute of it. Well, except when he was throwing the ball up to catch and it didn't land in his glove. He landed on his nose. It bled a little and off he ran back on the field with a coach. He complained the day after but he went back and enjoyed it.

They practiced bunting. Jackson didn't even know what that was until camp.

Checking to see if his bat was too heavy,

Practicing his batting position.

The last 25 minutes of camp each day they played a little game. The boys loved it!

Here are the happy campers in their new t shirts!

Slip and Slide

The Easter Bunny brought the boys a slip n slide this year. We finally had time to get it out and let them play. It was fun watching them learn to slide!

Jackson's first slide!

It took these two a little longer to slide but once they did there was no stopping them!

Carter looks so grown up.

C was loving the water

I tried to get a picture of all 3 but it didn't work.

Miles has to act silly all of the time

Michael had fun squirting them with the water hose.

And Miles watched them.

Carter was ready for more!

And yes. Michael grabbed the camera and took a picture of me.

The Final T Ball Game

Jackson was so sad for the baseball season to be over. He has fallen in love with playing it.

Getting to bat is the best part of the game!

And making it to first.

He improved a lot playing short stop.

And look...sweet baby Turner came to see Jackson play!

He looked around and was so sweet!

Batting for the last time in t ball!

And he smacked the ball!

And scored a run!

We had a great season and can't wait for next year! Ball gets real when you hit first grade. I guess we better get ready!

5k Graduation

Looking back I noticed I didn't post the pictures from the graduation service at our church. These little people were so cute and they did a great job. I will not post any pictures from his actual graduation because Jackson had a throw up bug and missed it. We were so sad!

5k graduates from Kelleytown

Jackson looks thrilled to stand for a picture with the high school and college grads!

They walked down the aisle like pros!

It was kinda scary with Jackson and Boyd leading the way!

Pastor Rod asked Jackson what he wants to be when he grows up. It was a construction worker this day.

Sweet little 5k class
