Week 8

February 19-25

Sunday- Miles likes eating his snacks. Especially when I hand him a bowl and let him sit on the floor. (And it gets him away from me long enough to do something in the kitchen.)

Monday- Back to the doctor. Carter had an ear infection and both had nasty colds. Breathing treatments for all! Oh so much fun!

Tuesday-This is Dusty, our play vacuum. See, Carter does like playing with them.

Wednesday- Miles is sneaky. He wants a football I put on the stairs out of his reach. So he climbs on the container of legos to try to reach it. 

Thursday - PJ day at school for Jackson. He didn't want his picture taken so here's his back side! 

Friday- Jackson played with his army men after school. 

Saturday- Jackson had a blast playing with his tracing book. He did just about all of them. I must find another one!

Week 7

February 12 - 18

I'm getting back on track!

Sunday- Miles is walking more and more these days! 

Monday- Carter decided to hold the sippy cup for Miles.

Tuesday- Valentine's Day! Jackson gets excited on the way out of the door. He realizes he gets lots of candy at school!

Wednesday- My camera finally makes it home. It was sent back to Nikon for a cleaning.

Thursday-Carter has a thing for vacuums. I hope he likes them when he is older!

Friday- Miles and Carter will play with anything! Here they are playing with paper towels. 

Saturday- Jackson loves putting the bean bag in the recliner and then sitting on it.  

Miles and Carter 13 months

Here are the twins at 13 months! The pictures are not the best quality but my camera is still being repaired.

Austyn's Visit

Austyn was back in SC visiting for a week. Our family had dinner together Wednesday night so Jackson got to see her for a little while. Then Sunday afternoon Austyn and Kayce came to visit. Jackson was in HOG HEAVEN. 

They watched some of the movie The Smurfs.

I had them pose for a picture. I'm not sure why this color came out like this but it was the best  one.

We stayed in the front yard FOREVER waiting on the ice cream truck. I'm not sure who was more excited - Kayce or the kids. They had pickles and Kayce loves pickles.

All Jackson wanted to do is let Austyn ride in his jeep.

Teddy Bear Day

 

Jackson's class had a teddy bear picnic at school two days last week. The first day he took his stuffed dog - Tac. The second day he wanted to take his Lightning McQueen stuffed pillow pal. This is one of his favorite toys and was all smiles going into school with it.

Week 6

February 5-11

Sunday: Austyn came over to play with Jackson. They had the best time and she didn't want to go home. 

Monday: Carter woke up from his morning nap as happy as could be! Well, I put him in the crib with Miles and both had a blast playing.

Tuesday: No OT for Miles so both boys played at Boom's house while I ran a couple of errands. They loved the little pool filled with balls!

Wednesday: I thought I would get a picture of Jackson brushing his teeth. He may fuss about brushing in the mornings but at night he reminds us! I guess he will do anything to stay up a little longer!

Thursday: Jackson found the little bubbles I had in his Valentine bags for his friends. He went on the porch and blew them towards the door for Miles and Carter. They loved it!

Friday: Teacher workday at school so Jackson was home with us. He "rested" most of the day. He loves his leapster and super man pjs! 

Saturday: No picture!! I'm so slack. I was with adults all day getting my CWP and forgot to take a picture. Michael and the boys survived!

Project 366

Week 5

January 29 - February 4

Sunday: Black Out night at Awana. Jackson had to carried his flash light since it was dark in the Family Life Center. All of the kids had a blast singing and dancing in the dark!

Monday: Jackson and I went to lunch with daddy and then we ran some errands. He was so funny trying on hats in a store!

Tuesday: Here are the boys dressed alike before OT. I thought we were finished but I was wrong! Carter stayed with Boom while I took Miles. 

Wednesday: Austyn and Kayce came home for a visit! Jackson was tickled to death to have dinner with her.

Thursday: Miles had his last PT visit. Miles is going to miss Ms. Nicole. She has been wonderful!

Friday: Uncle Brandon came over so we all ate lunch with Scrappy and Papa. 

Saturday: The little ones stayed with Boom and Pop while Michael and I went to the gun range. The little ones had a blast in the little red cars. Carter is turning into a little Jackson! He acts so much like him it's getting scary.

While at physical therapy Thursday Carter loved playing in this tube. Miles had to join in since they like to do things together. This is great exercise for Miles' hips so Nicole sent it home with us. Needless to say all three of the boys are loving it!

Everyone had to crawl in when I brought in inside. 

It takes Miles a minute to figure out how to climb out. 

I think we have a hoarder. Jackson loves piling random items on our couch  and then he climbs on too. Here he is with the tube, several blankets, some cars and he is holding a microphone (which was a Wendy's toy 2 years ago!). 

Where is winter?

Since we are having great springtime weather in February we headed outside. Thank goodness my parents came over to help me. I'm not sure who had the most fun - the adults or the kids!

All of them loved the sand box! 

Carter had fun kicking the soccer ball around.

Jackson tried to dig to China but he had to stop when he hit the black dirt! 

Miles liked playing with the shovel. 

Physical Therapy

Miles has completed PT! I am happy but sad at the same time. What are we going to do on Thursday mornings?? I took Carter with us not knowing it would be our last visit. Nicole has two puppies and Miles loves them. Carter hasn't been around them so I wanted him to see them too. She had to put them away since Carter was a little afraid to start with but he was good to go by the end of the session.

Earlier this week, Miles started taking a couple of unassisted steps. We were so proud of him. He would take a couple of steps and we would cheer and clap. We even had Carter clapping for him!

Carter liked poking his finger through the baby gate to touch  Molly and Little Bit.

Austyn's Home!

Austyn is home from Texas and we were able to eat dinner with her one night. Jackson was so excited and can't wait for her to come over to play while she is home. 

The Letter J

Jackson's class is learning the alphabet. Each day they talk about a letter, the sounds it makes and different things that begin with the letter. At night before bed, Jackson and I sing the ABCs and talk about the letter for the next day. He has been so excited about the letter J because his name starts with it. Today was the big day! I decided at the last minute to take frosted cookies with M&Ms making a J. Jackson was so giddy about taking them to school!

He didn't make a J but he put lots of m&ms on his cookie.

I hope he likes it. 

Looks like he enjoyed it! I'm sure Ms. Martrano loved  giving the class tons of chocolate!
