Christmas Night 2012

Christmas night my parents, brother and sister in law came over to our house. The kids were experts at opening gift at this point.

Boys and their toys

You will see this in our back yard this spring! They boys got two of these BIG balls. It's like a  kid size hamster ball. The kids can climb in and roll around. They are going to have so much fun with these!

Christmas Day 2012

We spent Christmas Day at Boom and Pop's house! Everyone had a blast!

M and C's broom and dust pan!

And the baby swiffer!

A little helicopter thing!

A glow in the dark ball.

All the boys checking out a toy.

All of them loved opening the gifts!

Carter liked to push his car around.

Carter got some tickles from Daddy!

Santa 2012

Here's what Christmas Morning looked like at our house!

Project 366 Week 52

December 23-29

Sunday- We went to my Aunt's house for our day before Christmas Eve supper. Miles had a flash light and was looking for Santa in the fireplace. He did the same thing at Thanksgiving. It was too cute!
Monday- Christmas Eve. Miles was at the doctor. He had strep throat. He and Michael missed my mom's house that night but the rest of us had fun!
Tuesday-Christmas Day- Carter found a spot to sit on the basketball goal.
Wednesday-The little ones LOVED the Elmo Uncle Brandon and Aunt Erica gave them. I've heard Elmo sing way too much this past week!
Thursday-Miles wanted 2 pairs of pants on. He wore his pj bottoms over his regular pants.
Friday-Carter has found Jackson's wooden stackable robots. He loves to play with them.
Saturday- We let the little ones play outside after we took down the Christmas decorations. They were all bundled up and had a blast!

Project 366 Week 51

December 16-22

Sunday-Carter was starting to feel crummy. He was playing with the dinosaur in the kitchen and all of a sudden he curled up on the floor to rest. (The dinosaur looks like he posed for a picture!)
Monday- Carter still feeling yucky but loved playing with the manger. I took him to the doctor and he had the flu!
Tuesday-Miles stayed right beside Carter the entire time he felt bad.
Wednesday- Jackson ate a blue sucker. Can you tell? This was his first night back home. He stayed with Boom and Pop so he would not catch the flu.
Thursday-We finally got out and went to my mom's house. My dad tore a tissue into little pieces so Carter could vacuum them up with the hand held vac. Can you say spoiled??
Friday-Jackson's Christmas program at school. They wore pj's!
Saturday-Carter ate 3 helpings of butter beans! The baby finally started eating again!

Sick Days

Sick little boy...

Poor Carter was diagnosed with the yucky flu! Miles stuck close by him the entire time.

He didn't know what to do.  He started taking Tami Flu and Miles get a smaller dose as a  precaution. Thank goodness we have great doctors who would give both boys meds! Dr. Budhram said big brother was on his own this time. Fingers are still crossed and prayers are still being said that we all stay well.

We played a little bit of everything. The Army Men got a nice Clorox bath when we finish playing.

Miles thought he could act sick too!

Cool toy of the day - a laundry basket. This provided LOTS of entertainment.

Monday-Carter tried to wake Miles up from a quick nap by poking him in the nose. It didn't work.
Tuesday-Back to Nintendo for Jackson and Michael!
Wednesday- Carter was caught playing with the Christmas tree. This is his "I didn't do anything" look.
Thursday- Carter was entertained with a butter box.
Friday-Jackson was exercising while watching television.
Saturday- M and C played with the army men. It kept them busy while I did a little work.

Christmas Parade 2012

All three boys liked the parade...well Carter didn't like it as well as the other two.

Jackson was a super big brother!

As long as things weren't too loud Carter was fine sitting with me and Miles.

Carter turned to Michael and said "cheese". I guess he is used to the camera in his face.

Carter mostly stayed with Papa away from the parade.

This is one my favorites. I laugh every year with this silly clown car comes by!

A little later, Miles spots Michael with the camera and says "cheese"

This was a neat old fire truck.

Letter to Santa

Jackson's class had a neat field trip recently. They walked a couple of blocks from school to the Santa Mail Box at a local park. After they mailed the letter they walked to the coffee shop and had hot coco. These are all pictures his teacher posted on facebook.
