Carpool Book Club

I love a good book! I'm linking up with Narci for her book club again this month.

I have a long list of books I want to read and I'm not in the mood to read most of them. I'm strange like that.

I just started this book and it's the first book I've read by Catherine Anderson. Hopefully it is good.

This was my first Meg Cabot book and it was cute. It was strange to me because it was just about all in text messages and email. I have more of her books on my list but they have not been in at the library.

I love browsing the library for different books when I have time. I found Diana Palmer's series and it was fairly good.

I got this one from the library the other day. After I got home I checked GoodReads and it has a low rating. It's on my list to read next.

I also saw this one and decided to read the reviews before I checked it out.

I always love reading anything by Shannon Stacey, Jill Shalvis, Colleen Hoover and Kristen Proby. But then again...I love to read.

What's Up Wednesday

-What we're eating this week-
It's an easy week with supper. It's left over chuck roast that Micheal cooked in the smoker Saturday and I have no idea what I'll be cooking the other days! I might better start thinking about it.
I did just bake my first cheesecake and I hope it turns out well.

-What I'm reminiscing about-
In just a few weeks my little boys will graduate 5k. I can't believe they will be in first grade in a couple of months. Time has flown!

Here's their first day of 2k and Jackson's first day of 5k. It seems like yesterday!

-What I'm loving-
After our snow earlier this month our weather has been perfect! Lots of playing outside.

Jackson got to see his favorite teacher recently...his 3k teacher.
And her daughter (who is our only babysitter) is getting married in a few weeks in the mountains and we are going! YEAH!

-What we've been up to-
A little bit of everything!

Jackson's class had a field trip but he decided not to go (as well as several of his friends). So we played at our house while the other mom's worked!
Did you count right.... that's SIX boys! They were so well behaved. I can't wait for them to come back over.

We also had dentist appointments...
We had a full house!

-What I'm dreading-
Nothing!

-What I'm working on-
We are working on getting things ready for Miles and Carter's Easter Egg hunt that will be at our house. We are getting all of the outside toys ready for them.

-What I'm excited about-
All of the fun spring activities. All 3 boys are playing Upwards soccer and that starts soon.

Miles and Carter get to tour their new school this week. They are super excited and scared because they will be in separate classes for the first time.

I'm excited about all of the end of year activities/field trips with the boys. It's always so much fun.

-What I'm watching/reading-
I love watching The Voice and Dancing with the Stars. They are my favorites as well as HGTV during the day while I fold laundry!

I'm reading lots of random books. I hope to find some new suggestions! I have a Catherine Anderson book I'm reading now. I also picked up a book by Lauren Fox. I've never heard of her so I'll see if it's any good.

-What I'm listening to-
What ever is on the radio. Any my boys playing.

-What I'm wearing-
It's about time to switch the black yoga pants for soccer shorts. I do wear jeans and leggings with tunics.

-What I'm doing this weekend-
We have no plans!

-What I'm looking forward to next month-
It's a busy month!
We have spring break, Easter Egg hunts, field trips and the boys are in an Easter play at church. It going to be a fun month!

-What else is new-
We are working on our garden and I planted some seeds this past weekend. They are starting to sprout and I'm super happy!

That's kale and I hope it continues to grow. We love kale! I also planted cucumbers, peppers, broccoli and cauliflower.

this and that

We saw our shadows on Groundhog Day!

We always look at the books while we are in Wal-Mart. I even go down the aisle when I'm alone.

Michael finally put up the coat hooks I wanted in the boys closet. Haha!! He did this all on his own. No help from the boys. After he laughed at himself he fixed it.

Miles did a great job writing his Valentines for his friends.

Carter said he was going to write Miles's name really neat because that his first best friend.

I went in the closet to get Valentine cups for Miles and Carter's class. This is what I ended up doing. I had the back of my car packed for Habitat.

Where's Miles? He thought he was wearing this to school.

Friday night a Lowe's.

And...Saturday night at Lowe's. We have an exciting life. Jackson was with a friend at the movies so I got out of cooking...again!

And then Jackson gets the flu. This was one sick baby.

Two of my Valentines ready for school.

The difference a day can make. His fever broke and he was feeling better.

Friday night at the bookstore!

Carter learned to climb the tree. He was super proud!

My snaggle tooth boy. He knocked his front tooth out with the handle on a rake.

These two watched TV like this for the longest time. Neither complained.

I was painting picture frames so the boy had to paint as well. They had fun!

Jackson had my phone and decided to take some selfies.

My boys can wear a pair of shoes out in no time! The last two pair of J's shoes have lasted about a month. I guess he plays hard.  We have kept Rambo's in business the past month.
