What's Up Wednesday April 2019

With the weather being so nice recently, we have been grilling up a storm! We've had burgers, pork chops and chicken so far. We also have sausage and mahi mahi to grill. One of my all time favorite things to grill is...

CABBAGE!

All we do it cut into quarters and place on tin foil. Then we spray it with olive oil, salt and pepper. You could add any seasons (or bacon) and grill until tender. It's delicious!! 

These two have gotten way too big!! This is Austyn, my cousin's granddaughter. She is 6 weeks older than Jackson. I love getting pictures of them together. 

It's spring break! The boys and I are loving lazy days!

SOCCER!!

Mr. Puddin (yeah...that's what everyone calls him) is one of our favorite people. He goes to church with us and is awesome with the kids. And those two boys with him are Miles and Carter. They are starting with the "twin" thing on the soccer field. It's fun to watch!

And Jackson (in light blue) had fun playing against a buddy that was on his fall ball team. Jacks loves soccer. He is always in the yard kicking around the soccer ball.

I was going to say school getting out for the summer but the boys have been awesome this week (so far). Summer is going to be fun!!

I'm almost caught up with the blog. It's been fun catching up and finding new blogs to read. I'm also working on cleaning out the "junk" in our house. I'm tossing all kinds of stuff we do not use anymore! 

The boys have 6 more weeks of school! We are all super excited for summer.

I have not been watching much television lately but when I do have time there isn't anything on I want to watch! UGH....

I've been playing random music on YouTube and Amazon music. My boys love playing DJ when we are in the car. 

Oh my goodness. I've fallen in LOVE with ordering clothes from Amazon. I've ordered dresses, tunics and leggings. It's a hit and miss so you have to read the reviews. 

Heather over at My Glittery Heart  recommended her favorite legging and they are THE BEST!! Super comfy and they feel good.

I also ordered 2 of these - navy and black. I've worn one of the and it's super comfy. It's going to be great for hot SC summers. 

We do not have plans and I'm super excited. There's no soccer on Saturday and Micheal and I are teaching Sunday School for grades 1-3 Sunday. 

This says it all!! 

March's Book Review

The family next door was my first Sally Hepworth book and I was NOT disappointed! I enjoyed everything about the book and will be reading more of her books. 

The Wedding Date by Jasmine Guillory was recommended on several blogs. It was a really good book. It was a quick read with not much to think about but it was good. 

I usually like Elin Hilderbrand but The Castaways just didn't do it for me. I read the first few chapters and decided I didn't want to finish it. 

I have loved every book I've read by Robyn Carr. She's my feel good author. The Best of Us was just as good as the rest of her books.

Friday Favorites

Soccer practice is always fun! And Olivia in the back ground is my favorite. Games start tomorrow. We are excited!

I have a super cute bunny I always hang on my front door but this is happening in my boxwood wreath. I guess the bunny will not make an appearance this year. We are up to 4 eggs this morning! 

I'm happy to have my January and February book update on the blog. Scroll to the next post to see it! Hopefully next week I'll have March's complete. 

Um. I went to reorder some Frankincense and when did it go up to $75!?!  Or has it always been that price? I guess I used the smaller bottle the last time I ordered. Talk about shocked!!!

The chairs we have been using for soccer games started tearing apart (after 5 years). Last time we bought the cheap ones so I decided to upgrade this time. We have these and they are wonderful!!  My mom and I are going to feel all fancy and stuff rocking while cheering for our boys. Haha! 

With Michael coaching 2 teams I decided I would not be able to carry all my stuff and 2 chairs (one for my mom). So I decided I'd be THAT soccer mom with the wagon. I only have 2 arms to carry all the junk stuff with so it's all going in this handy dandy folding wagon. I used it at one practice and the boys loved pulling it. I'll let y'all know how it goes tomorrow!
