Everyday Life Week 44

November 5 - November 11

Some boys work while other boys play!

The boys were excited about The Great Wolf Lodge.

We all had fun playing. Miles was mad because I didn't give him the sweat shirt he wanted. And he isn't even wearing it yet.

These boys love playing the Wii and Jackson is acting like a goof ball on the couch.

I went on a field trip with J's class and we had so much fun. This was his favorite part - writing with a quill.

My sweet boy. All of the kids were so well behaved.

M, C and I went to the Friends of the Library book sale. We had fun looking thru all of the books.

Everyday Life Week 43

October 29 - November 4

Nothing says fun like ripping asphalt up.

Sunday porch picture.

It's a school Halloween party.

We picked Turner up and he fell asleep before we made it home.

All the boys had fun playing before we went trick or treating.

J needed new shoes. He went up a size and a half! No wonder his foot was hurting.

I told the boys to get dressed for school. This is what Miles thought he was going to wear.

When did Jackson get so big!

Yes. Miles voted at school. For ice cream. 😊

Everyday Life Week 42

October 22- October 28

After playing hard for a while J decided to read with me on the front porch.

J loves one of my mom's all time favorite snacks. We call them redneck smores and he is addicted! It's a marshmallow, peanut butter and a saltine cracker. Broil it for a couple of seconds and it's done! It's heaven on a saltine!

Sunday porch picture.

These two play so well in their room while J does his home work.

These boys love riding their bikes after dinner. It's a shame it get dark so soon now.

Carter has made a huge improvement with his home work. He loves doing it!

It's a field trip to the pumpkin patch!

If Vanilla Ice was running for president I'd vote for him!!

My awesome bag boy! I'm training them right!

These two had fun picking out new rugs.

McAurther Farms

Michael and I had fun at McArthur Farm with Miles and Carter's class. This farm doesn't have animals but it had a huge play ground!

The class of boys and a girl.

After a hayride to the pumpkin patch and a lesson on how the pumpkins grow the kids were able to run through the patch to find the perfect pumpkin. Everyone had to check several out before they decided on which one they wanted.

After we found the perfect pumpkins we walked to the play area where everyone had the most fun. This slide was huge! I know the kids were tired from running up the hill to slide down.

They were able to race little pedal go carts.

The boys were running in different directions so it was tough to get pictures!

I think they played with EVERYTHING there. (Even the porta potties! EEEKK!)

The corn pit was stinky but the boys loved jumping in it.

I did get them to pause for a quick picture on a combine slide.

A rare picture of us!

Kings of the hay bales!

This is a trampoline type thing. It looked like so much fun.

This is Carter taking a break in a long tube.
They also had a wall of tires to climb and tractor tire swings.

A neat pumpkin house.
And they motto is awesome - Family - Faith - Farming.

And an up close of Miles. Haha! He was mad about something.

This is the other tractor slide. The kids had fun exploring on the tractors and well as playing on all of the cool toys. We had an action packed morning and it was a blast!

Everyday Life Week 44

October 29 -November 4

Some one decided to take the asphalt off our drive way. There's concrete under it and so far it looks great!

Sunday porch picture.
Trunk or Treat was a blast!

It was team day for Red Ribbon Week at school.

Miles and Carter's class dressed for Halloween.

I picked up and extra boy and we all trick or treated. It was so much fun!

This boy went from a size 3.5 to a size 5! I guess his feet were hurting!

I told Miles to put on long pants and a long sleeve shirt for school. This is what he put on. Good try Miles! Funny - can you spot C in this picture??

When did J get so big? And it was show me your socks day for Red Ribbon Week. But he would have dressed like this any way.

J tried to teach them a new game. I'm not sure how that worked out.

M and C's teacher incorporated voting in their class work this week. Since they could not vote for president they voted for what type of party to have - ice cream or pizza. Ice cream won! I think I  would like to vote for ice cream this year too!
