Everyday Life 2015

Week 3
Day 15 Thursday
A little popcorn goes well with homework!

Day 16 Friday
We are finally opening Christmas gifts at my moms.

Day 17 Saturday
The boys have fallen in love with board games!

Day 18 Sunday
A little baseball throwing after church. Jackson has been wishy washy about playing this year but he says he wants to play.

Day 19 Monday
NO SCHOOL!! Jackson and I started building a Mine Craft toy he got for Christmas.

Day 20 Tuesday
3 day weekends aren't as fun when it is homework time. See all those tissues? There might have been a couple of tears during the 20 minutes of homework that took forever and a day to complete.

Day 21 Wednesday
I have this great idea to deep clean every room in our house. I started today. This is all of the JUNK that came out of our master closet. There is still more on the right side of our bed. The walls and shelves were wiped clean and everything neatly put back in. And I got 4 bags of clothes to donate and 1 bag of trash.

Everyday Life 2015

Day 8 Thursday
Michael read that boiling water would freeze at a specific temperature. Well, Thursday morning it was that temperature and I had to go out and watch. Some of it did freeze and the white cloud is the steam from it. It was kinda neat. Very cold but kinda neat.

Day 9 Friday
After lunch these two get to play on the iPad and watch TV before we have to sit in the car line.

Day 10 Saturday
Jackson was so excited that both dogs will sit and let him pet them. Just before I took this picture I saw J kneeling down petting Duke (blue collar). I asked what he was doing and he said singing so Duke can take a nap. How sweet is that?!?

Day 11 Sunday
C woke up feeling kinda yucky so they opened some birthday presents. My boys love to paint!

Day 12 Monday
No school when you have a fever. So we paint. C loves to finger paint. M decided to finger paint with a paint brush. He didn't like the paint on his hands!

Day 13 Tuesday
Car line. Miles wasn't feeling the pictures. And he wasn't feeling being in the car seat.

Day 14 Wednesday
C and his lunch. This boy doesn't want to eat right now. We have battled with it since before Christmas. He will chow down on some pickles and guzzle Sprite but not much else. And they are still in their jammies. Their school was cancelled because public school was on a 2 hour delay.

Birthday Presents

Since Miles was sick on their birthday we didn't give the boys any presents. And with everything they got for Christmas they didn't miss anything. Sunday morning Carter woke up with the same bug Miles had a couple days earlier. He was starting to feel yucky so we let them open two little presents in hopes to cheer him up. They opened paints, crayons and paper. The boys had fun painting!

Leaves

All of our boys had a blast playing in the leaves. Let's hope they think it is fun to rake them in a few years!

Everyday Life 2015

Day 1
We were a little late getting our decorations down but that's okay. I had a little help this year and it was great!

Day 2
We made cupcakes for my birthday (a little late). Miles has starting asking if he can be a helper. And I always say yes because one day he will not want to help.

Day 3
We have been at my moms house a lot over the past week and a half. The boys have a playroom there and lots of new and old toys. This train was mine when I was little!

Day 4
I looked and looked for some sort of organizational thing to hang on this wall. One day my mother in law said she saw something and she was going to make it for me. I think this looks better than anything I could have bought.

Day 5
Back at my moms with all 3 boys. I'm sure she was recuperating better with ALL of us there! This is where Carter loves to go. The snack drawer. He will not eat a meal but give this baby some junk food and he is happy!

Day 6
Jackson lost tooth #5!

Day 7
It's their BIRTHDAY!
They are tickled to finally wear their new "4" shirts. And it is not an easy task to get a good picture of both of them.

Happy 4th Birthday Miles and Carter!

It's hard to believe my babies are 4! I still say the first year was a big blur. I don't remember much about it. I just survived.
We have not had a birthday party for them yet but we will in a couple of weeks. We are waiting until flu season is over before we get a group of kids together! And they are not hurting for toys right after Christmas.

They had special snack at school on their birthday. On the way to school Miles decided he didn't want to share his birthday with Carter. Thank goodness his teacher, Mrs. Martrano, talked about how special it was to share your birthday with your brother.

Singing Happy Birthday!

Miles didn't feel well when we got there. He didn't eat any of his snack and kept saying he was cold. I took him to the doctor and the flu test was negative. Apparently he had something viral.

They each blew out 2 candles.

Carter did lick the icing off his cupcake. Isn't that the best part?

M was still a goof ball even though he felt bad.

I tried to get a picture of them before school. This is the best I got. At least no one is picking their nose.

And this is what I interrupted to get a picture.
Boom made their shirts. They were tickled to finally wear the new "4" shirts!

Christmas Day

Christmas morning is always fun with little ones. My boys were so excited to see what Santa brought. Santa wraps all of their gifts because it is so much fun unwrapping them!

Waiting patiently to open Santa gifts.

And then they had to pose for a picture to send my mom since she was in the hospital.

Their big presents...

were new bikes!

I think all 3 loved them. Now if the weather would be nice we could ride them.

Miles didn't want to open anything. He was happy with sword he was holding in the first two pictures. All he asked for was Power Ranger toys.

Jackson got Power Ranger stuff.

All this sweet boy asked for was Marshall from Paw Patrol.

The week before Christmas Jackson decided he wanted Star Wars stuff.

Carter had tears in his eyes when he opened Marshall. He is in love!!
