Everyday Life Week 39

September 24 - September 30

The boys had fun with a little Saturday afternoon basketball.

All of a sudden all 3 boys have fallen in love with riding their bikes. I'll be posting LOTS of bike riding pictures. 

J thinks he is a pro. He will ride all day if we let him. 

Funny story: J was complaining about his stomach hurting. Of course I ask if he had to use the bathroom and he said no. It took a while realize he was using his abs to peddle the bike! He was getting a work out!

Miles lost another tooth. This one was while he was with Pop. M tried to open a cookie container with his teeth and his loose one popped out! 

More racing in the rain. This boys have lots of energy!

M and C's class read a book about hats so everyone was asked to wear their favorite hat.

More bike riding. Miles finally got his bike out instead of the hot cycle. 

Everyday Life Week 36

September 3 - September 9

Nothing beats a Saturday playing in the dirt!

I had to sort and organize the boys jeans. I think I have plenty of pants for Miles and Carter for the next few years! 

Sunday afternoon snacks are better in the shop with dad!

These boys are beyond tired! They played outside all day for two days. 

Jackson likes it when he has time on the ipad without two little brothers. 

3rd grade is tough. It's time to really start studying! 

They got dressed without seeing what each other had on. If they knew they matched they would have changed. Haha!!

All I've heard is Miles whining because he is last to be the line leader. This was HIS day and he was super excited.

It was a wild Friday night around our house. After baths, J read several books to M and C. 

Everyday Life Week 27

July 2 - July 8

This was a fun Saturday. One of our back yard neighbors has a crazy yard guy. He was burning trash at the edge of the woods one morning. Apparently he didn't get it all the way out and it started burning again that afternoon. Luckily our next door neighbors saw it and Michael helped Al put it out while waiting on the fire department. The firemen were awesome!

Happy Fourth of July! 

We swam for a while before it started raining. It felt like it rained everyday for weeks. There was always a late afternoon summer thunderstorm. 

                                           

We all had fun at my cousin's house for a Fourth of July cookout. The kids played with water balloons and sprinklers. Some people fished and some sat under the shelter talking and having a blast. Once it got dark enough the fire works started and we all oohhhed and aaahhhed.  We got home after 10 but everyone had fun!

This is how we all felt the next day. 

It's always fun to go to Barnes and Nobles. My boys could stay in there all day! (Well...I could too!)

More summer storms. I love to watch a storm and these boys just run outside to act crazy. 

Carter has NO fear and he has some mad ninja skills.

Everyday Life Week 16

April 16 - April 22

Tire Races
They wanted to play with the old tires instead of their toys! And they had a blast chasing the tires. 

The Sunday Porch Picture was after church. I almost forgot so they look half dressed.

Miles was working hard on writing. 

This was proof that the boys and I went grocery shopping BEFORE school!

And Jackson had to check out the books on the top shelf. Who doesn't like standing on the stools?

And he likes to build just like his dad!

They were having races. I love watches the boys play!

Soccer practice is always fun!

And they played a quick game with the older girls! They boys held their own and played really well.

A little Wii time is always good especially when it's hot outside!

December 25-31

Thursday
Carter wanted Miles to look at what Santa brought.

Monday
We have laughed so much at the boys playing the Wii. They have a blast!

Tuesday
Since it's been raining every day this is what we do. Video games.

Wednesday
Wii Time.

Thursday
It's my birthday and the boys are playing video games since it's raining. I'm baking cupcakes with home made icing and catching up on my blog. Hopefully after while I'll be playing Mario Kart with the boys!

December 18-24

Friday
It's Christmas Program time!

We were cows! And they both sang some of the songs.

Saturday
A puzzle I thought would be easy but it was HARD! We didn't finish it. Maybe next year.

Monday
Jackson did a little reading at Barnes and Noble.

Tuesday
Making Christmas Lists

Wednesday
A doctor's visit. And an ear infection.

Thursday
The boys helped me bake cookies.

And make Reindeer Food.

Miles was a huge fan of it. 

Thursday
Little Rodney left the boys marshmallow snowmen. Of course my boys wanted to eat them!
