Happy LEAP Day!!

Everyday Life Week 8

February 20 - February 26

Turner had fun with the big boys Saturday morning!

Jackson was able to cast my vote with me.

Sunday Porch Picture

This is going to be fun!! 3 boys with 3 different size underwear.
Carter is still loving the sight words.

Tuesday would not be complete without a trip to Berri Lane with Jackson!

He beat Scrappy at cards.

A nasty, rainy day. Playing lego's in old lunch trays while wrapped in a blanket.

I sent Carter to the office to get something and he found the Lego instructions.

Talk about rain!! This is the back parking lot at Jackson's school.

And thanks to daddy the boys now know that balloons make pooting noises.

This is worth documenting - Carter ate 1/2 slice of pizza! This is the first time!

It's always fun to run around outside after school!

What's Up Wednesday

What we're eating this week...

Michael grilled some delicious ribs Saturday night. I can't wait for him to grill more! And we had Mix and Match Mama's Meatloaf. Instead of loaves I made them into patties. For the leftover patties we had cheese burgers. They were tasty! Bonus -- all 3 boys ate the meatloaf. This is a miracle!

What I'm reminiscing about...

Our first mountain trip with the boys. The ride there and back wasn't fun but we did have a blast while we were there.

What I'm loving...

My LLBean slippers I got for Christmas. These are the best!!

What we have been up to...

Not much. Just the normal - school, homework, playing. Jackson decided not to play baseball this year.  I'm going to miss watching him play but I'm not going to miss the late nights at the ball field. He does want to play soccer so that will start up soon.

What I'm dreading...

I'm not really dreading this but I'm not looking forward to it- taking Miles and Carter to the eye doctor for an exam. I've been putting it off.

Jackson worse these around for 2 days before his first eye exam. He said he needed glasses. Let's hope the boys eyes are fine!!

What I'm working on...

Sight words with Miles and Carter. They notice when I add new words and get excited when they learn to read them.

What I'm excited about...

SPRING BREAK!!
A week with no schedule is going to be FUN!

And Easter. I love everything about it.

My boys last Easter.

What I'm watching/reading...
I love watching The Bachelor. It's my guilty pleasure! Michael watches all sorts of crazy shows on Netflix but I most read while he is watching.

I'm reading The Calloway Family Novels by Barbara Freethy. They have been good!

The next two on my list are...

What I'm listening to...

In the car it is usually something the boys like. I did introduce them to the Tootsie Roll and they think it's hilarious!

What I'm wearing...

Black yoga pants...duh....

What I'm doing this weekend...

If the weather is nice we will be outside playing. Sunday we have church, a birthday party and Awana's.

What I'm looking forward to next month...

Easter Egg Hunts!!

Jackson at his 2k egg hunt!

What else is new...

Not much at all.

Everyday Life Week 7

February 13- February 19
Turner thinks he is as big as my boys! All of the boys had fun playing together at Scrappy's house.

Sunday porch picture with dead plants.

Miles and Carter are loving the site words I've been putting up on the door.  They are truly little sponges. They learn the new words so fast.

Our happy place. I'm so excited this boy loves to read.

We had to run something by church so we played on the playground a little while.

Working in daddy's office.

We played at Scrappy's house. Miles picked me some flowers.

Jackson chased squirrels. He still thinks he can catch one.

Carter rode the hot cycle.

We did a little light reading about dinosaurs at breakfast.

Carter got their clothes out for me. He even picked out the socks and underwear!

Everyday Life Week 6

February 6 - February 12

Jackson worked hard on his Mine Craft Lego.

I forgot the Sunday porch picture so it's the church soccer field picture before Awana.

When it's too cold to go outside it's a Netflix on mom and dad's bed kind of day.

This is  how J helped me put the groceries in the car on the coldest day of the year. Thanks for all the help buddy!

My Valentine hearts from my little boogers.

M and C went to an assisted living facility to take Valentine cards and to sing. C was loving on the older ladies.

Look at all of the SNOW!

C in saran wrap waiting to go to the ENT for allergy testing.

Playing the iPad while we wait on the test.

EEK!! He has some strange allergies. Chicken? Green Beans? Apples? Come on...he eats those all of the time.

We did our Valentine Cards for our classmates.

And played with Lego's on the kitchen floor.

We had to go thru our candy from our friends.

A trip to Westwood isn't complete without some one sitting on the pig.
