Friday Favorites

My most favorite thing - hands down - would be my tumblers from That Inspired Chick's Etsy shop. She was super to work with and answered all my questions. I ordered 8 different ones for teacher gifts and I HAD to get me two as well. Not only are they super cute they keep your drinks nice and cold.

Another favorite this week would be FRIENDS!

These guys loved hanging out at the soccer field while their siblings played.

This group came home from school with us and we had one more but took him home after school! Eeekkk! Nah. I really enjoy it. I love a house (and yard) full of kids.

I just love seeing pictures like this on our school's facebook page. The school had 2 game trailers come in so the kids could play as part of one of their fun days. I think this one was for the kids who achieved their Accelerated Reader points. And - I have this game trailer rented for an end of year party for my boys. They are super excited!!

Wednesday night we kicked off summer with our church family this week. The water slides were the kids favorite!!

Jackson will be heading to middle school next year and it's NOT a favorite of mine. BUT, seeing my baby wearing a bow tie is a favorite. The 5th Grade Awards Ceremony was this morning and it was so fun. Jackson received an award for PE and we were all excited.

These three boys are the sweetest. They are best buds and I could not ask for any better friends. Their parents are the best and we love all of them!

I'm THAT mom who didn't tell her kids we had a pet store in town until a few weeks ago. We really want a rabbit so we keep going by to play with them.
Miles is the animal whisperer. He loves animals and they love him.

Carter is our wild and loud child. He wants the animals to love him but he hasn't mastered the 'lets be calm' attitude.  With all that being said we are waiting until after vacations before we get one or two. I don't want to get one and then leave it.

This is my most favorite yet....

I FINALLY got a new car!

GOODBYE minivan and HELLO sequoia!

What's Up Wednesday-May 2019

I can't believe it is time for What's up Wednesday for May! Time needs to slow down just a bit.  Thanks for stopping by to check out my blog.
Here's what's on the menu for this week:

Broccoli Bacon Cheddar Chicken from Julia's Album

I really need to check our Julia's Album for more tasty dishes since this one was a hit with us!

Mozzarella Parmesan Chicken Casserole from eatwell 101

Y'all. This was not bad at all. It would be tasty with some sort of pasta but since I'm cutting back carbs I had it with cauliflower rice. The boys ate it but they were not big fans. They are super picky. Since we had leftovers we made chicken parmesan sandwiches. I know. I'm cutting back carbs and I really am. I don't eat many sandwiches. at. all!

Tonight we have a summer kick off at church with inflatables, games and hot dogs. I'm sure all of us will have lots of fun.

SOCCER!

Jackson (the tallest) and two of his buddies had a great season!

I'm still in shock how much Miles (yellow shoes) and Carter (red shorts and orange shoes) improved this season. Both of them played so well and were amazing!

And here's Miles and Carter (the middle two) with some of their friends. These four guys have been together since 3k - that's 5 years!! And Lane (the one on the left) rides home from school with us every day.
We still have a few more days of school. The boys and I are counting down the days!! We are so ready for the lazy days of summer.

We are just hanging on trying to make it to the last day of school.

Also, Michael and I've been teaching 1-3 grade Sunday School once a month. It's been fun!
I'm totally dreading going to Jackson's 5th grade awards ceremony Friday. I mean - he is my baby. It isn't time for him to be going to middle school. But, I'm proud of him and he is an awesome kid!

But...since I'm a stay at home mom I'll be home with the boys ALL summer. These two meme's sum up my summers.

This is 100% my boys asking to play electronics!

And this. OMG. So true.
Not much. Just the normal mom stuff like keeping the house clean and the laundry done. I'm thinking about some sort of chore chart for my boys for the summer. They do not complain much when it's time to help so I'm thinking of making a daily list for them.
Hello VACATION!
We are so ready for a week of fun in the sun! And just so you know...the picture is taken from the porch of the house we rent. Most of the time the beach looks like this because it's a gated community. Now you see why we love it!

And then it's time for Vacation Bible School when we get back. I was asked to help plan everything and it's been FUN! We usually have it at night but are switching it to morning this year.

Neptune Island Waterpark
We have season passes to our local water park. I still can't believe my little town has a water park. We can't wait to go and have fun with our friends.
I'll be posting my book review very soon! And I haven't had time to watch television. But my boys realized that they can watch YouTube on our tv so I get to listen to all kinds of crazy stuff about video games (and I mean Fortnite.)
Still Amazon Music.
EEKKK!!! I've never really posted about what I'm wearing because it's all basic mom gear. Yoga pants, leggings, workout shorts with tunics, tank tops and t shirts. BUT.....I tried on a romper. And I'm in LOVE!

This one is from Belk and I tried it on first. I'm not wild about the stripes but it it SO comfy!

This is Old Navy and it's almost as comfy as the first one.

This is Amazon and I haven't worn it yet. I can't wait to see how it feels.

This is Old Navy and it it wonderful!

We have NOTHING on the calendar and I couldn't be happier! We will probably swim at our neighbor's house or head to the water park to stay cool.
The boys will be out of school! And we will go to the beach for a week! And the thing I'm looking most forward to is NOT PACKING lunches!

Hello Monday

HOLY MOLY! It's been a busy few weeks. Here's a shorten version of what's been going on - life with 3 boys. That should explain it all! Haha!! But for real. Here we go.

This is me most Monday mornings.

The All A Awards were a few weeks ago and all 3 of my guys made all A's! I'm super proud of all of them. Pictured with them are our superintendent (in the red tie) and two of the board members.

Soccer practice every Monday was FUN! Michael coached 2 teams and actually enjoyed it. He wasn't too happy because I volunteered him to coach but ended up loving it.

Miles and Carter had the twin thing going on during games. It was fun to watch!

We had Mother's Day Lunch at Sam Kendall's. It was amazing!

After lunch on Mother's Day Michael had to leave to go to a training for a week. I sent him pictures every morning on the way to school to prove I could handle it! Haha!!

After soccer practice Monday I noticed Carter's eye was red. I watched it Tuesday and gave him allergy medicine. It wasn't getting any better so Wednesday morning I took him to the eye doctor. I thought it was just allergies but I was wrong. He had pink eye.

Apparently Miles didn't want Carter to be the only one not feeling well. Thursday morning around 4 o'clock he wakes me up saying he doesn't feel well. At 5 he threw up and I had him in the shower washing. Thank goodness he felt better afterwards and there was no more throw ups. AND - Michael had this same 'bug' Wednesday and was stuck in his hotel room. EEKKK! So, Miles was home with me Thursday.

I sent this to Michael saying I was still alive and I was holding it together! Haha!!

Friday morning I took all the boys to school and then took my van to be cleaned. We are trading it in soon and wanted it super clean. My father in law gave me a ride back to my house and we were going to pick it up that afternoon. So, that's a perfect time for Miles to have an upset tummy and need to be signed out of school. I had to drive Michael's big truck to go get him. I was proud of myself for backing it out of the garage and I remembered a booster seat! We were all glad to see Micheal get home that afternoon!!

Saturday morning we were up bright and early for the LAST soccer games. Jackson and his buddies had a blast! We love soccer but we are happy the season is finished!

I'm all caught up for now! YEAH ME!
