Everyday Life Week 36

September 3 - September 9

Nothing beats a Saturday playing in the dirt!

Sunday porch picture.

I had to sort and organize the boys jeans. I think I have plenty of pants for Miles and Carter for the next few years!

Sunday afternoon snacks are better in the shop with dad!

These boys are beyond tired! They played outside all day for two days.

Jackson likes it when he has time on the ipad without two little brothers.

3rd grade is tough. It's time to really start studying!

They got dressed without seeing what each other had on. If they knew they matched they would have changed. Haha!!

All I've heard is Miles whining because he is last to be the line leader. This was HIS day and he was super excited.

It was a wild Friday night around our house. After baths, J read several books to M and C.

Everyday Life Week 35

August 27 - September 2

This is how we do Saturdays!

Sunday porch picture.

And another one just for laughs.

Miles and Carter were super happy the first day of school.

These 3 were excited to go to J's open house. We had to tell them to slow down because J was running to his class.

These two have a couple of sheets to do for homework each week. It was a little tough getting it done this past week. I need to split them up and help one at a time.

J had a blast at the eye doctors office. His vision wasn't perfect but it was close!

And the tropical storm caused schools to close at 12:30. So, while it is raining cats and dogs we eat popcorn and watch television.

Friday Favorites

I will admit that these two starting 5K was a favorite of mine this week. I'm sad they are not with me ALL day but I'm glad we are getting back into a routine. So far they have been rock stars in the mornings. They get up with no problems, eat, brush teeth, get dressed and we are out the door. I'm so proud of them!

Pictures from M and C's teacher are a favorite! I love seeing them hard at work.

Jackson and I had eye doctor appointments this week. I spent all Monday morning getting my exam and trying on glasses. I think I can fit any one with some new frames now. I researched all Monday afternoon because the frames I liked were too big for my head and I wanted something similar.

This is the pair I wanted.

I  even tried on kid frames. They fit my head but I really didn't want pink (or purple) Hello Kitty frames.

I went in Tuesday morning and saw these frames (which I saw online). I promise they were not there the day before. Thank goodness I found them and they should be ready soon.

I'm tired of hearing...1 or 2....3 or 4! Haha!
Jackson's appointment went well and his vision is great!

New power lines are being buried on my street. The guys have been working ALL week. They had to dig a hole right where I back out into the road. Seriously. They should have asked if I was good at backing up. Now I just pray I remember it is there. Thank goodness I have not ran over it...yet. There is still a possibility!

Hurricanes are NOT a favorite. I don't mind the rain but everything else can stay away. Hurricane Hermine is making it's way towards SC.

I'm not sure if the winds have anything to do with the clouds today but they were a favorite! They looked so low and so fluffy.

And yes...I took a picture while creeping down my mom's street. Jackson fussed at me. I should not do two things at the same time. Do not drive and text or take pictures. I reassured him we were fine.

Hello Football!! I'm listening to the USC/Vanderbilt games as I work on this post.

And last but not least...
