Friday Favorites

I will admit that these two starting 5K was a favorite of mine this week. I'm sad they are not with me ALL day but I'm glad we are getting back into a routine. So far they have been rock stars in the mornings. They get up with no problems, eat, brush teeth, get dressed and we are out the door. I'm so proud of them!

Pictures from M and C's teacher are a favorite! I love seeing them hard at work.

Jackson and I had eye doctor appointments this week. I spent all Monday morning getting my exam and trying on glasses. I think I can fit any one with some new frames now. I researched all Monday afternoon because the frames I liked were too big for my head and I wanted something similar.

This is the pair I wanted.

I  even tried on kid frames. They fit my head but I really didn't want pink (or purple) Hello Kitty frames.

I went in Tuesday morning and saw these frames (which I saw online). I promise they were not there the day before. Thank goodness I found them and they should be ready soon.

I'm tired of hearing...1 or 2....3 or 4! Haha!
Jackson's appointment went well and his vision is great!

New power lines are being buried on my street. The guys have been working ALL week. They had to dig a hole right where I back out into the road. Seriously. They should have asked if I was good at backing up. Now I just pray I remember it is there. Thank goodness I have not ran over it...yet. There is still a possibility!

Hurricanes are NOT a favorite. I don't mind the rain but everything else can stay away. Hurricane Hermine is making it's way towards SC.

I'm not sure if the winds have anything to do with the clouds today but they were a favorite! They looked so low and so fluffy.

And yes...I took a picture while creeping down my mom's street. Jackson fussed at me. I should not do two things at the same time. Do not drive and text or take pictures. I reassured him we were fine.

Hello Football!! I'm listening to the USC/Vanderbilt games as I work on this post.

And last but not least...

Friday Favorites

My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE of all! How sweet if Jackson for doing this?

It's the LAST day of 4K for these two silly boys!!

All 3 boys LOVED fishing last weekend.

Soccer season is officially over. Jackson had a blast and it was so much fun watching the kids play.

It's almost time to see this again...

Friday Favorites

Our wonderful neighbor, Ms. Mary, had a birthday this week. The boys made cards for her and we took them over. The boys had a blast running around her backyard playing with her little dogs.

Our Sunday Porch Picture turned out to be a Waterfall in the Neighbors Backyard Picture. Haha!

Khloe and Maxi are not around kids much. Maxi barked and barked at them. And he never barks! Khloe ran, played and then acted shy. My boys loved playing with them. On a side note - the dogs are used to my boys playing in the pool not playing with them.

They had to check out the waterfall from Ms. Mary's side of the fence. Jackson said her new backyard is beautiful. It really is! Her pool is to the right in this picture.

Carter and Maxi. They are buddies now.

The boys participated in our church's AWANA program this year. They had so much fun through out the year.

Here's Miles and Carter's group. This group of kids learned 27 bible verses this year.

Most of this group gets move up to the next level this coming year and they are super excited.

Carter was too funny. The group was going to say a verse together but Carter wanted to say it alone! Afterwards he said he really liked being on stage talking in the microphone. Hahaha!!

And here's Jackson group. They said a couple of verses as a group. Jackson and two of his friends completed all 3 books and 150 verses over the past 3 years. We are so proud of him too! He also gets to move to the next group.

The awards. They were so excited to get these!

A friend of mine is always posting neat pictures on IG of hearts. It's random objects shaped like hearts or a heart in something. After seeing them for a while I started noticing hearts in objects. So....

here's a heart shaped rock Miles found on the playground at school a while back. Isn't it neat? I also found a heart in my dish water the other day but didn't get a picture. Bummer!

In honor of Mother's Day I thought I would share these priceless words from my boys. I feel like I need to explain a couple of their answers!

Carter does help me make tea. He stirs it for me.
I do say "clean up" a lot.
I do not like tomatoes. Ketchup - yes. Tomatoes - no!
I do like Coke - just diet coke.
And I'm glad he thinks I'm a great cooker! It's all of that hot broccoli I make him.

Miles. I'm going to get his rear.
I've never said "howdy" and I'm not starting any time soon.
I do love his drawings. They are awesome!
I do not drink hot coco but I do love coffee!
If I had lots of time I'm sure I would be playing the Wii.
Now to the "whipping" part. Haha! I've never "whipped" him. I've popped his rear but not spank him. I about fell out of the chair laughing at this. His teacher said she tried to get him to say another answer but nope. This was it.
Thanks Miles and I do love you!

Just as kicks I decided to show Jackson's card he did in 4K. His was just as funny and sweet. I will NEVER forget my heart is as big as my dad's lawnmower!

It's time to ride the Golf Cart! Michael finished pimping our ride so it's time to ride. The boys love riding around the neighborhood (Michael and I do too)!

I only got a picture of Miles the other night while we were riding. He was in the front with me and Michael. I was scared to let Carter ride in the back but I kept checking him. I also noticed that Jackson was holding his hand between the seats. It was super sweet. I wish I could have gotten a picture of it. And...some one needs a hair cut! (He just walked in the door from getting a buzz cut!)

He had as much fun taking pictures as he did riding! And he just started chewing gum. I guess we had to find a "flavor" he liked.

And here's the final product. Michael was taking Miles to get his hair cut. We are going to ride a lot this summer!

I hope everyone has a ...
