Christmas Day

Christmas morning is always fun with little ones. My boys were so excited to see what Santa brought. Santa wraps all of their gifts because it is so much fun unwrapping them!

Waiting patiently to open Santa gifts.

And then they had to pose for a picture to send my mom since she was in the hospital.

Their big presents...

were new bikes!

I think all 3 loved them. Now if the weather would be nice we could ride them.

Miles didn't want to open anything. He was happy with sword he was holding in the first two pictures. All he asked for was Power Ranger toys.

Jackson got Power Ranger stuff.

All this sweet boy asked for was Marshall from Paw Patrol.

The week before Christmas Jackson decided he wanted Star Wars stuff.

Carter had tears in his eyes when he opened Marshall. He is in love!!

December iPhone Pictures

First off was a trip to the doctor for what we thought was a sinus infection. It wasn't....thank goodness!

A trip to Florence is a lot better now that McAlister's is open!

Jackson had a great progress report!

The boys raked leaves to play in!

A follow up with the ENT for Carter.

Boom and I watched Jackson's class while his teacher went to lunch.

Who knows what these two were doing.

They love the Christmas things at Scrappy's house.

We rode around looking at the Christmas lights.

The boys pick out their clothes and put them on in the mornings. Miles has his shirt and pants on backwards and C ALWAYS picks out a ninja turtle shirt.

I was brave and took all 3 to Game Stop for Jackson to pick out a new game.

Can you read what Jackson wrote? I had him read it to me. It says - Celebrate Jesus's birth. Open presents. We love Christmas.

One evening our neighbors came over with two doggie cupcakes. It was their dogs birthday so they shared cupcakes with our dogs.

Miles can finally peddle up hill.

The first graders had a Christmas Program. Here's Jackson playing the kazoo! The kids did a great job.

An hour and a half later Miles and Carter had their Christmas program. It was cute even though my boys didn't sing.
This monkey loves to climb a tree! It was chilly outside but we had to get out and run around.
We colored.

We opened presents from each other on Christmas Eve.

We have always had Christmas Eve at my mom's house. She had surgery Christmas Eve and was in the hospital so we went to my Aunt's house. Everyone had fun but we surely missed my mom!

A quick picture to send my mom before they dug into what Santa brought.

Michael gave me UGGS! I was so excited. They are so warm and comfy.  I felt like a 15 year old with my boots and leggings.

I got to play with this little turkey! Turner came over to see Scrappy. Isn't he adorable?

I'm going to brag a minute. I put this stinkin' Lego together. It might have taken me a VERY long time but I did it. When I finished Jackson said  "Mom...It really works!" Thanks baby. I'm glad I was finally able to put together a Lego without Michael's help.

This crazy dog started digging under the fence into our neighbors yard. I told them about it and they were super nice about it. Don told us that he would put Gus back over then fence when he was ready to go back home. We now have chicken wire around the fence to keep him in. Duke just barks like crazy when Gus digs out. At least one of them would stay in the yard.

These two tickle me. Boom gave them new snow boots for Christmas and they had to wear them to see Scrappy.

Nothing says fun like bundling up to watch fireworks.
Happy New Year!

Christmas Programs

All of the boys had programs on the last day of school before Christmas break. Jackson's program was at 8:15. Miles and Carter had their program at 10. It was a hectic day but we all survived.

The entire first grade sang and they did great. This is just two of the six classes!

Jackson had his shirt on backwards. He didn't care and I thought it was funny.

The last song everyone play their kazoo. It was super cute and they got to bring the kazoos home. Great!

I promise the next 3 pictures are not the same. Miles sat like this the ENTIRE time. He didn't move. It was funny.

All of the kids in the preschool sang and the 5k did a little skit. They were so cute.

The bottom row is M and C's class. You are not seeing things. Their class is mostly boys! There's only 3 girls.

Christmas Tree

I had lots of help with the Christmas tree this year. I opened the container of ornaments and they boys went to town before I could "fluff" the tree. I had to stop them so I could at least have the limbs looking half way decent. I only hung 4 large balls and their 3 glass balls. I had to make sure they were hooked on good! They did the rest!

Miles was first.

Then Jackson.

Miles stopped for a second for a picture.

Carter would not stop long enough for a picture.

Thank goodness the tree is near the stairs. I have ornaments all up the back side of the tree!

Carter wanted to pose like this.

J and Miles were still busy hanging 15 balls on one branch.

I see TROUBLE!!! Someone started shooting the nerf balls in the tree.

Nothing like searching the Christmas Tree for nerf balls!!
