I read 4 books in May and I enjoyed all of them! With this being the boys last week of school I'm hoping to start reading more.
more than words by Jill Santopolo
I would have not picked this book up from the library but Leslie Ann over at LaLaLife recommended it. She has great book reviews. Jill has another book The Light We Lost. I'll be adding that to my to read list as well!
Here's what Good Reads said about the book.
"More than Words is a heartbreaking and romantic novel about grief, loss, love and self-discovery, and how we choose which life we are meant to live."
Steal Me by Lauren Layne
This is a random library find...I think. I can't remember if some one recommended it or not. Anyway... It was a good read. I think the banter between the two main characters is so much fun to read. She's a waitress at a diner and he (and his family) eat there every Sunday.
Here's a little from Good Reads.
"Being a cop might be in Anthony Moretti's blood, but protecting and serving the city of New York has always been more than just the family business. If that means his love life stays locked up, well then that's just another sacrifice made in the line of duty."
not quiet over you by Susan Mallery
Ahhh...This is one of my 'feel good' authors.
This book had a few curve balls I really didn't see coming and they made the story even better! I love all of Susan Mallery's books. She's the best!
Good Reads review
"But her best laid plans begin to unravel as Silver finds herself falling even harder than when they were high school sweethearts. Which means that she'll have to come clean about the secret she's been hiding from him for year- and risk losing him forever."
no one but you by brenda novak
This is my first book by Brenda Novak. I liked the book and then I didn't like the book. The story line was really good although some parts were slow. Overall it was a good read.
Good Reads review says -
"As Sadie and Dawson's professional relationship grows into something undeniably personal, Sadie realizes there's more to Dawson than the bad boy everyone else sees. He has a good heart, one that might even be worth fighting for."
