Easter Parties

The Easter Egg Hunts have begun! We had two parties (at the same time) the Friday before spring break. My mom and I went to Jackson's and Boom and Michael went to Miles and Carter's. I think it's safe to say that all my boys love to hunt for eggs!

Jackson's 5k class and his teachers, Miss Missy and Mrs. Walters. 

Jackson was fighting with a girl over an egg. He won - just so you know. He wasn't giving her that egg! 

They searched all over the yard.

And the swing kept the entire class busy for a long time.

Jackson had his first baseball game.

Jackson made a Leprechaun trap at school. We didn't catch that sneaky little man but he did leave a treat for the boys.

When Carter was better from his bug I took him the CVS. He had a blast walking around shopping.

Miles and Carter wanted to watch tv like this one day. It lasted 2 minutes and they were up running around.

I found an app for making monograms for my phone. I love playing with it!

Bugs

Carter had a "bug" last week. He was perfectly fine and then late Sunday night he started with it. We were up most of the night so he lounged around Monday. Here's what he and I did while the others were away.

He watched cartoons for a while. I had quilts on the couch just in case. What this picture doesn't show is the dish pans and dish towels I had every where for him. I was prepared! 

He had to pour his own drink.

He played a little iPad.

I did get him to stretch out on the couch for a while and this happened...

He took a good nap. Carter isn't a napper. He is scared he is going to miss something. He only naps when he is sick.

Thank goodness this lasted less than 12 hours. It took him a while to get his energy back but we were able to contain it to just him.

The boys had fun celebrating Dr. Seuss's Birthday this past week at school. They had hat day, silly sock day, favorite book day, bow tie day and character day. 

This is true. My boys love to read!
